Complete the Application

Submit the Application
Send the completed application form and required documents to your county's Central Appraisal District. You can mail this or submit it in person.
Verify Submissions
Confirm that the tax assessor's office received your application. Check the official website for submission options (Action on your application will occur within 90 days from the date it is received).
Wait for Confirmation
The tax assessor's office will review your application, and if approved, you should receive a confirmation letter or notice in the mail.
